When Purchasing a church for sale there are a few matters to consider before putting in an offer.

Firstly Are there any covernants? this is something a solicitor should be able to deal with and i would use a solicitor that has dealt with covernants on a regular basis, as there understanding can be vital, some covernants mean nothing like you cannot bread pigs at the property, but some can be a little more complexed.

Secondly if you are planning to get the nessessary permission to convert the church for sale into multiple dwellings then its not a bad idea to have a chat with the planning office as they might have some insight into what they would like to see happen with the building in question.

Again it does'nt hurt to do a bit of digging around to find out if your plans are realistic.

Thirdly are your costing right? there are always going to areas you have not thought about or come up and never could of prepared for, but when purchasing a church for sale just try to put as much effort into costing as possible as the benefits to this are endless.
